Philippine Gaming Management Corporation boosts business productivity and security with Globe Business
Philippine Gaming Management Corporation (PGMC) has tapped Globe Business, the corporate information and communications technology arm of Globe Telecom, for the use of G Suite and Secure Email Gateway (SEG) to maximize business efficiency and to strengthen its cybersecurity measures respectively.
Through the partnership with Globe Business, PGMC was able to acquire G Suite licenses that allow its employees to work better together via secure and reliable workplace tools for email, calendar, text, and video chat, as well as document creation, project websites, and online storage and sync. PGMC also acquired SEG to comply with the email encryption policy requirement of being an ISO 27001 certified company.
“This year, we availed of G Suite because we wanted to get away with the restrictions that we were experiencing with our previous email system. The migration of our corporate email to G Suite was very smooth and training was very easy. Initial troubleshooting was also very easy with the help of Globe Business–it lessened the birth pains of implementing a new system,” said Tan Eng Hwa, PGMC Vice Chairman
